The God Bag was added in the Crystalline Update and it was a bag with infinity capacity that was nerfed to 3,000 and then made uncraftable shortly after being released due to exploiters. This bag was obtained illegitimately by hackers and at the time most people on Booga Booga had it.
As of April 3, 2018, the bag was removed from everyone below level 1003 (the level required to craft it), because of exploiters. However, it was not completely removed from the game and could still be traded (however the God Bags were probably never traded off from their original owners, due to how rare and useful it is)
When the Mojo Update occurred, the God Bag has been removed from every player and added as an item in the Mojo Shop. Its recipe can now be bought for 1 Mojo and is the best obtainable bag in the game.
In the legacy 2018 version of the game, the God Bag is absent; despite this, it still exists within the game's files. In terms of being the best bag in the game, it has been phased out by the "Goober Bag." Still, many players wonder why developer Soybeen removed the bag, making it so that level 1003 has no rewards.
In the Booga Booga Hybrid, the God Bag was heavily buffed with 10000 capacity in the Rework update, making it the most overpowered bag in the game. The God Bag required level 1000 to craft.

- Since the Mojo Update, the God Bag was wiped from every player and became an item in the Mojo shop, probably enraging the players who did the hard grind to 1003 and had that progress just erased.
- The God Bag is now much, much cheaper then its original crafting recipe.
- Due to exploiters, lots of God Bags have been obtained by hackers farming levels or duplicated through the Market (this was after it was removed, and before the Data Wipe and the Mojo Update).
- After the patch, hackers still had the God Bag if they weren't banned.
- The God Bag has been noticeably nerfed. If you had a God Bag before the Mojo Update, you can tell. Also, It was nerfed to make way for the new Shelly Bag, the new best bag (unobtainable) in the game.
- It can be used to carry the supplies for other God Items, like the Infinity Chest.
- You need at least an Adurite Bag to hold the materials to craft it.
- If you are planning on Rebirthing, you should wait until you have Rebirthed then craft the God Bag as there is no way to keep the God Bag during a Rebirth because you cannot drop it.
- Before the Mojo Update, players were able to drop it, but now it's not possible.
- It may be a nuisance to craft/use this bag as when you rebirth continuously to get all the stuff in the shop, you will have to keep recrafting the bag (including all your tools and armor).
- Before the Mojo Update, there was probably about only 10 legitimately obtained God Bags.
