The Ancient Tree is the largest tree in the game, appearing on the Sun Island. It has 10,000 health points, making it a bit hard to be chopped down. It can be broken by any tool other than pickaxes and weapons. The Ancient Tree respawns every 2 minutes once destroyed. The Ancient tree is now the fastest way to farm XP.

Basically a massive Sun Tree.
Destruction[]
When destroyed, the tree will drop a large amount of Essence & materials, it will drop 32 Essence, 16 Gold, 16 Crystal, 16 Logs, 16 Leaves. Underneath the tree is a hole through the island in which the loot can fall into the ocean. This can be avoided by placing docks underneath the tree.
History[]
The tree first appeared in "Ant Riders" Update, but was difficult to access until the Crystal Update.
Before you could break the Ancient Tree's branches which were Sun Trees.
In older versions it dropped 69 Essence, which was changed to 48 in C1.42 (later changed again)
Tips[]
It is recommended to destroy the Ancient Tree using the best tools such as the Magnetite Axe, Pink Diamond Axe, Adurite Axe, God Axe, or the God Rock. A large tribe can be used to collectively chop it down.
The Ancient Tree drops the most Essence in the game.
